Charles Herbert Best

Charles Herbert Best (1899 — 1978) was a Canadian physiologist born in the United States. He is known for assisting Frederick G Banting (1891 — 1941) in research that led to discovery of insulin in 1922 for which Banting was awarded Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine in 1923 which he shared with J J R Macleod (1876 — 1935).
