CHARLES KEMBLE

CHARLES KEMBLE (1775-1854), son of Roger, born at Brecon; appeared first at Sheffield as Orlando, in 1792, and two years later came to London, where he continued playing till 1840, when he was appointed Examiner of Plays.

Two daughters of Charles also won fame on the stage.
