Charles Wentworth Dilke
Charles Wentworth Dilke (1789-1864) was an English critic and journalist. He served for 20 years in the Navy Pay-Office, contributed to the Westminister and other reviews, and became proprietor and editor of the Athenæum. He started the Daily News, and left many literary Papers, which were edited by his grandson.Nearby pages
