Charlotte Whitton
Charlotte Whitton (1896 - 1975), full name Charlotte Elizabeth Whitton, was a Canadian feminist, journalist, writer, and the first woman mayor of Ottawa or any major city in Canada. She served two terms as mayor - first from 1951 to 1956 and second from 1960 to 1964.Wisdom & Quotes
