Charudeshna

Charudeshna was a king in Hindu mythology. He was very beautiful in physique which attracted a woman Mandodari who had been turning down all offers of marriage. Mandodari was the daughter of king Chandrasen who married her to Charudeshna the day she expressed her desire to marry him. In the beginning the couple were happy, but upon finding him committing adultery with her maids, Mandodari left him for good and went back to her father's home.
