Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus is a Railway station, formerly known as Victoria Terminus in situated in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra in India. It is a Victorian Gothic Revival architecture in India with a blend of themes derived from Indian traditional architecture. However, this High Victorian Gothic design is also based on late medieval Italian models.

The building was designed by the British architect F.W. Stevens. It was built in over ten years, starting in 1878. Its remarkable stone dome, turrets, pointed arches, and eccentric ground plan are close to traditional Indian palace architecture.

This magnificent terminus now serves as the headquarters of the Central Railways in India. Till 1996, it was known as Victoria Terminal, named so in the honour of Queen Victoria.
