Childerbrand

Childerbrand, also Childebrand I (678 – 743 or 751) was a Frank warrior, who figures in old chronicles as the brother of Charles Martel, and son of Pepin of Heristal and Alpaida, a Frankish noblewoman who became wife of Pepin. Childerbrand signalised himself in the expulsion of the Saracens from France.
