Chong Choi

Chong Choi (1537-1594) was a Korean poet and government official. Governor of Kangwon province; second state counselor under King Sonjo; suffered many exiles during a particularly turbulent career as a government servant; as poet, known for moral verses and ones on such topics as wine, music and love.
