Chrétien

Chrétien, also Chrestien, de Troyes (fl. c. 1160–1191) was a French poet or trouvère. He was author of a number of vigorously written romances connected with chivalry and the Round Table. He is known for some of the best works of medieval literature which included Erec and Enide, Lancelot, Perceval and Yvain.
