Christian calendar

Christian calendar is an ecclesiastical calendar for Church or Christians that mentions time, months or seasons to observe, commemorate, and celebrate certain events or occasions. It also includes festivals and holidays and sacred time for worship of God.

It is primarily divided in three parts -
1. Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany
2. Lent, Holy Week, and Easter, concluding at Pentecost
3. The rest of the year following Pentecost is known as Ordinary Time

In protestant church calendars one can find Reformation Sunday and All Saints Sunday.

Information regarding the Twelve Days of Christmas, Shrove Tuesday or Mardi Gras, Ash Wednesday, Holy Week, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter are the major features of a Christian calendar.
