Circassia
Circassia, also known as Zichia, was a country and historical territory on the Western Caucasus, spanned the western coastal portions of the North Caucasus, along the northeastern shore of the Black Sea. It became subject to Russia after it was conquered by Russian Empire during the Russo-Circassian War (1763–1864). It was celebrated for the sturdy spirit of the men and the beauty of the women.
