City of the Sun

City of the Sun is an epithet for Baalbek, a city located east of the Litani River in Lebanon's Beqaa Valley, about 67 km (42 miles) northeast of Beirut. It is also the title of a work by Campanella, describing an ideal republic, after the manner of Plato and Sir Thomas More.
