Clarence Birdseye
Clarence Birdseye (1886 — 1956) was a US inventor and businessman known for revolutionizing eating habits by developing and introducing the process of rapidly freezing foods, which were then traded in small packages suitable for sale in retails. He was formerly a fur trader, but shifted to packaged food trading after developing the new technique. He was inspired by his observation of food preservation techniques practiced by the people of Labrador.
