Clement Attlee

Clement Attlee (1883-1967), 1st Earl Attlee, full name Clement Richard Attlee, was a British statesman and politician. He was a politician of the Labour Party. His term as Prime Minister during 1945-51 is known for nationalization of major industries and creation of the modern welfare state.
