Colette
Colette (1873-1954), full name Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette, was a French writer, novelist, memoirist, mime, actress and journalist. She was also famous for bohemian life. Her first books, the Claudine series published under name of her husband, Willy. After 1906 divorce, she worked in acting troupes as mime and music hall dancer. She gained notoriety for lesbian affair, and also famous for works on love, nature, and animals, and ability to capture emotions of young girls and aging women.
