Commandment

Commandment is a rule divine. Such a divine rule is received by human beings from the God, which we are obliged to observe as strictly as possible.

For example, Ten Commandments, which appear twice in the Hebrew Bible (or the Holy Bible), in the books of Exodus and Deuteronomy. According to the story in Exodus, God inscribed them on two stone tablets, which he gave to Moses on Mount Sinai.
