Consalvi
Consalvi (1757-1824) was an Italian cardinal and statesman, born at Rome, secretary of Pius VII, and continued as minister of the Pope till his death. He concluded the Concordat with Napoleon in 1801 and also represented the Pope at the Congress of Vienna. He was liberal patron of literature, science, and arts.Nearby pages
