Convergent thinking is a process of thinking that attempts to consider all available information to arrive at the single best possible solution to a problem.

In this process, all avialable information are gathered and logical conclusions are made accordingly.

Convergent thinking is best employed when a single correct answer does exist and can be discovered based on an analysis of available stored information.
