Cookie

Cookie is a message or programme from a web server computer which is sent and stored to a user's computer when a website is browsed.

When the user's computer again connects to the originating server computer, the cookie is sent back to the server, allowing it to respond to user according to the cookie's contents.

Its mains use is to provide the user such information that is of the interest of the user.
