Corinna

Corinna, also Korinna, was a poetess of ancient Greece, born in Boeotia, lived sometime between early 5th century BC to late 3rd century BC. She was portrayed as friend and rival of Pindar in some ancient sources. Only a few fragments of her poetry remain.
