Countess of Huntingdon
Countess of Huntingdon (1707-1791), full name Selina Shirley Hastings, was an English Methodist, a leader among the Whitfield Methodists, and foundress of a college for the "Connexion" at Cheshunt. She was an admirer and follower of John Wesley, yet became an important leader of the Calvinistic wing of the Methodist movement.Nearby pages
