Crazy Horse

Crazy Horse (1842-1877), Oglala Sioux Chief (Tashonka Yotanka), was chief of the Oglala tribe of Sioux. He was a principal leader of the 1876-1877 Sioux uprising, in which he led the Sioux in the Battle of Little Bigborn defeating US General Custer. He surrendered in 1877 but was killed resisting imprisonment.
