Crémieux

Crémieux (1796-1880), full name Adolphe Crémieux, was a French advocate and politician, born at Nîmes, of Jewish birth. He was a member of the Provisional Government of 1848, and of the National Defence in 1870. He took a deep interest in the destiny of his race.
