Cynthia Ozick (b 1928) is a US writer and novelist. Her works are more often focus on Jewish culture. She also wrote short stories in a different style incorporating novelistic elements such as social destiny and philosophic viewpoints to such an extent that have contributed to rebirth of short stories in US.
