Cyrene
Cyrene, also Kyrene, was a town and Greek colony in Africa, East of Egypt, near present-day Shahhat in northeastern Libya in North Africa, extensive ruins of which still exist, and which was the capital of the State, called Cyrenaica after it, and the birthland of several illustrious Greeks.Nearby pages
