Decius

Decius (c.AD 201 – 251), full name Gaius Messius Quintus Trajanus Decius, also Trajan Decius, was Roman emperor from 249 to 251. He was a cruel persecutor of the Christians. He was perished in a morass fighting with the Goths, who were a constant thorn in his side all through his reign.
