Deo Kund

Deo Kund is in Aurangabad district of Bihar in India. This ancient pond is situated at about 65 km from Aurangabad town on the banks of Sone in Goh. It was dug in the 7th century near the flow of water of the river. There is a temple and a mutt which are also very old.

This place found mention in ancient books like the Ramayana. The tradition says that it was the place where the sage Chyavan lived and did penance. The place is also related to the sage Vishvamitra.
