Dharni

Dharni is another name of Bhumi the goddess Earth in Hindu mythology. She was daughter of the Pitris by their wife Svadha. She has also a sister named Mena.

Once, Dharni was abducted by an asur named Hiranyaksh in the form of a pig. Vishnu the god of preservation appeared in the form of a boar and rescued her.
