Dnieper

Dnieper is a river of Europe, anciently called the Borysthenes, the third largest for volume of water in Europe, surpassed only by the Danube and the Volga. It rises in the Valdai Hills in province of Smolensk in Russia, and flowing in a generally southerly direction, falls into the Black Sea below Kherson after a course of 1330 miles. It traverses some of the finest regions including in Belarus and Ukraine before flowing into Black Sea. The river is navigable nearly its entire length.
