Duke of Clarence
Duke of Clarence (1449-1478), born George Plantagenet, was brother of Edward IV. He was convicted of treason, and was condemned to death, and being allowed to choose the manner of his death, is said to have elected to die by drowning in a butt of Malmsey wine.Nearby pages
