Dunagiri is in Uttarakhand state of India. It is famous for a 5.5 kms long glacier situated and spread over 4240 metres to 5150 metres. Dunagiri village is 12 kilometres before this glacier on the Jumma to Dunagiri path. It may be mentioned here that Dunagiri glacier is one of the most important glaciers in the cluster of Dhouli Ganga glacier which consists of about 500 glaciers. The other important glaciers are Changbang, Girthi, Hoti, and Niti.
