Economy is "the right arrangement of things," and distinct from Frugality, which is "the careful and fitting use of things."

It is a system of a region or country that regulates the fulfillment of necessities of life in terms of wealth creation, distribution, and consumption. The branch of its study is called Economics.

Acquiring human and material resources at the appropriate quality and quantity at the lowest cost is also called economy.
