Edith

Edith, also called "Ado" in some Jewish traditions, is the alleged name of Lot's wife, though not named in the Bible. She is first mentioned in Genesis 19. The Book of Genesis describes how she became a pillar of salt after she looked back at Sodom when it was being burnt. She is also referred to in the deuterocanonical books at the Book of Wisdom (Wisdom 10:7) and the New Testament at Luke 17:32.
