EDMUND CALAMY (1671-1732), a grandson of EDMUND CALAMY (1600-1666), an eminent Nonconformist minister in London, on whom, for the high esteem in which he was held, honorary degrees were conferred by the Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Aberdeen universities.
