Edna Ferber

Edna Ferber (1885-1968) was a US writer, a prolific novelist an playwright who also wrote short stories. She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Edna's most famous fiction works are So Big, which won Pulitzer Prize; Show Boat and Saratoga Trunk. Her works in collaboration with George S Kaufman were popular plays like Dinner at Eight and Stage Door.
