Edward Kamau Brathwaite

Edward Kamau Brathwaite (1930-2020) was a Barbadian poet and one of the best-known Caribbean writer. He is famed as epic poet; focused on the black diaspora; best known for a trilogy, The Arrivants, about the privations of black people transported from Africa to the West Indies.
