Elijah Muhammad

Elijah Muhammad (1897-1975) was an African-US religious leader, founder of the Black Muslims which is now popularly known as the American Muslim Nation. He was initially follower of Wali Farad, the founder of Nation of Islam in Detroit. He was assistant to Wali Farad but after his death became leader of the movement. He called himself the "Messenger of Allah".
