Elizabeth

Elizabeth (1764-1794), born Élisabeth Philippe Marie Hélène, was a French princess, sister of Louis XVI. She remained beside her brother and his family during the French Revolution. She was guillotined during the Reign of Terror at the Place de la Révolution. She was regarded as a martyr by the Catholic Church, and was declared a servant of God by Pope Pius XII.
