Ella Baker

Ella Baker (1903-1986), full name Ella Josephine Baker, was a US civil rights activist. She was a founding member of the Young Negroes Cooperative League, Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), and the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party of the 1960s.
