Elwyn Brooks White
Elwyn Brooks White (1899 - 1985), popularly known as E B White in short, was a US writer. He is best known as the author of children's books which included "Stuart Little" (1945), "Charlotte's Web" (1952), and "The Trumpet of the Swan" (1970). He was also a writer and contributing editor to The New Yorker magazine, and also a co-author of the English language style guide titled "The Elements of Style".Wisdom & Quotes
