Eric Hoffer

Eric Hoffer (1902 – 1983) was a US moral and social philosopher. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in February 1983. His notable works include "The True Believer" (1951) and "The Ordeal of Change" (1963). The Eric Hoffer Book Award is an international literary prize established in his honor.
