Fakir Sen
Fakir Sen was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was from Chittagong, s/o Late Madhab Chandra Sen Gupta, Govt. service holder and landowner. He joined the Revolutionary Party of Masterda Surya Sen in 1929. He participated in Armoury Raid and arrested on 05.05.1930, and sent to Andaman jail where he joined the second hunger strike in 1933. He was repatriated in September 1937, and subsequently released in the same year. His total jail period was of 7 years. However, he was rearreested in 1940 for violation of Cr.P.C. 144 and was remained interned during 1940-41.Nearby pages
