Fakir al-Din Razi
Fakir al-Din Razi (1149-1209) was a Central Asian Islamic philosopher. He was one of the most famous Islamic theologians. He was born in Rayy, practiced alchemy, however, he failed. After that he traveled to India and settled in Herat (now in Afghanistan) and settled there. Razi was a poor man in the beginning but became rich later. He was always surrounded by his disciples because of his clear thinking. His writings mainly supported orthodox Sunni branch of Islam.Wisdom & Quotes
