FINGAL'S CAVE

FINGAL'S CAVE, a remarkable cave of basaltic formation on the coast of the ISLE OF STAFFA; entrance to the cave is effected in boats through a natural archway 42 ft. wide and 66 ft. high, and the water fills the floor of this great hall to a distance of 227 ft.
