Fouquier-Tinville
Fouquier-Tinville (1746-1795), full name Antoine Quentin Fouquier de Tinville, was a merciless French revolutionary, born near Artois. He was member of the Jacobin Club, Attorney-General of the Revolutionary Tribunal, and purveyor of the guillotine. He was guillotined himself after the fall of Robespierre.Nearby pages
