FRANCIS EGERTON

FRANCIS EGERTON (1800-1857), EARL OF ELLESMERE, statesman and author, born in London, second son of the Duke of Sutherland; was Secretary for Ireland and War Secretary; author of some books of travel, and a translation of "Faust".
