Frederick Hymen Cowen
Frederick Hymen Cowen (1852-1935), also Sir Frederick Hymen Cowen, was a popular English composer, born in Kingston, Jamaica. His works consist of symphonies, cantatas, oratories, as well as songs, duets, &c. He was conductor of the Manchester Subscription Concerts in succession to Sir Charles Hallé.Nearby pages
