Gandhi Gram is a small village in Angara Block of Ranchi District in Jharkhand, India. This village was supposed to be built as a model village. Villagers were given assurances by the government to rehabilitate them after their lands were taken over to construct Getalsud dam. This village was named after Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. Now, this is a neglected village and the government failed to keep assurances given to the villagers. Here from this road, the catchment area of the dam is only few hundred metres away. One can go near water to see the length and the width of the dam.
