Gene Autry

Gene Autry (1907-98), full name Orvon Gene Autry, also known as the Singing Cowboy, was a US singer and actor. He is known for carrying country music to national level, starting with the first cowboy song recording of 1929. He influenced millions of Americans with his songs.
