Gopimohan Shaha

Gopimohan Shaha was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was born on 27.03.1911, at Brahmanbaria, now in Bangladesh. He was son of Late Pearimohan saha. He belonged to Yugantar party, and was arrested on 1st November 1932 in connection with Medda Action. He was sentenced to 5 years R.I. and deported to the Andamans jail. After release from there, he was served with internment order and was kept in his home under strict regulations on his movements and on association with acquaintances.
